EU law requires biometric verification before a qualified signature can be issued. You verify once in the ZealiD app, which takes about 3 minutes with a passport or national ID and no video call. Your verified identity stays valid for 2 years.

No. Credits from your monthly or annual quota, and any extra credits you buy, do not carry into the next billing period. Each period starts with a fresh quota.
Yes, from Plans & billing in your account. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades start at your next billing period, so you keep your current plan until then.
Your account moves to a no-subscription state: signing, uploads and member management stop, and your data is kept for 30 days. Resubscribe inside those 30 days and everything is restored. After 30 days the data is permanently deleted.
Extra signature credits and extra storage packs can be added from Plans & billing at any time, so you do not need to change tier.
No. Verification is fully remote in the ZealiD app using your passport or national ID, and takes about 3 minutes. After that you sign with Face ID or Touch ID.
Across all EU member states, Norway and the United Kingdom under the eIDAS Regulation. Identity documents from more than 50 nationalities are supported, including outside the EU.
Yes. ZealiD integrates with DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat Sign and Foxit. We provide the qualified certificate and identity verification, your platform keeps the document workflow.
