Where they really differ
AML screening built in, or recorded from your own tool
Xama runs AML checks, PEP and sanctions screening, adverse media and ongoing monitoring, priced per check. Trust Circle checks identity with an ID document and a face check, and stops there. If you need screening, you run it in a tool built for it, such as Xama, and note the result in the KYC questionnaire. What Trust Circle adds is the rest of the client file: shared documents and qualified signatures.
What each one covers
A low price per check, or no price per check
Xama keeps each check cheap: £2.63 for an ID document check, paid in credits. In Trust Circle, each client verifies once in the ZealiD app and stays verified for two years. The check is part of your plan, with no limit, and your client doesn't pay.
Price a year of checks, and what sits around them
Count last year's ID checks, AML checks and monitored clients, and price them with Xama's published prices, plus Core at £13 a month. Then add what you pay for the tools around the checks: e-signature, file sharing and anywhere you keep client documents.
Put that total next to the Trust Circle plan for your team. If checks are all you need, Xama's prices are the lowest we found. If you also share and sign, compare the full set.
